All Shoreland Hills Property Owners Association members are strongly encouraged to make a point of attending our one general membership meeting for the year. It is imperative that your SHPOA Board hears what our membership has to say. Information on what to expect can be found on the Annual Meeting page under the SHPOA header on the website. Oh, did we mention there will be coffee and donuts, as well as Shoreland Hills merchandise? We look forward to seeing you there!

Unity in the Community ft. Christopher Dale...Thursday, June 5th (5-7:30 Pm)

Where: Stop 31

Hailing from San Diego, Singer/Songwriter and Guitarist Christopher Dale has been touring the country since 2022 using his original music to bring people together and connect, creating positive vibes that remain well after the last note. Please come down to the deck with a beach chair, your favorite libation and a donation for the tip jar while enjoying each other's company and some fun music!

Shoreland Hills Beautification Gratitude

Many thanks to Pam Utterback for spearheading our Mother's Day weekend beach cleanup and flower planting on Saturday, May 10th. Thank you to those who lent their helping hands: Stephanie Baker, Nick and Amy Georgitis, Alan and Kathleen Lang, Jan Radford and Laura Schuerman.

Also, a huge shout out to Jan Butcher who, every Spring, continues to plant flowers by the Shoreland Hills entrance sign on Duneland Beach Drive.

"Pottygate"

For purposes of transparency, the SHPOA Board wants to make sure our neighbors are aware that the removal of the port-a-potty at Stop 31 was due to the the Village of Long Beach's claim of ordinance violations and the threat of daily fines if we did not take action and remove it. We are currently trying to remedy the situation with Long Beach since the absence of the port-a-potty presents common sense concerns.

Shoreland Hills and Stop 31

As we quickly head into the 4th of July and one of the biggest weekends of the year, we would like to share some important reminders for our property owners and their guests:

It is illegal to set off fireworks at Stop 31.
Please make sure all trash at the beach gets disposed of properly.
If the garbage cans at Stop 31 are full, please take your trash home with you and dispose of it there.
Golf Cart parking is prohibited at Stop 31. Bikes and wagons only, please.
Have your property's 2024 beach pass with you before heading down to the beach.
Within Shoreland Hills, all parking must be completely off-street.
Please drive slowly...our kids (and deer) are everywhere!
Treat each other with courtesy and respect (including our Security Guards who are simply performing their jobs).
